Wednesday– January 23, 2019
Field Trip Tomorrow:
We will gather at the main lobby at 8:00 am and will depart at 8:30am. We are expected to be back to school at 1:00 pm. Students should come to school on-time with their normal buses.
Some directions that will help us in making the field trip successful:
1.Students will be wearing uniforms during the field trip at SkateZone.
2.Students should bring a bagged lunch, unless they order from the cafeteria (at school), then lunch will be provided.
3. Once the morning lessons and lunch is complete, students will be able to free skate.
4. We will leave the location at 12:30 pm.

Hi all,
Happy Thursday!
– No reading homework was assigned this week besides their daily 20 minutes.
– We did send field trip forms home. $20 for students, $5 for parents (parents must have had a background check/fingerprint done before they can chaperone a trip)
– Please remember your student can access our reading websites at home on any device with internet. See the attached document in class story for the websites that we use!

Hi all,
I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!Thank you for contributing to our class party and sending in well wishes and kind words!
A few notes:
1. Progress reports were sent home before break.
2. Students are in need of pencils, headphones and erasers.Check with your child regarding supplies.
3. We will be taking MAP-R this week. Please discuss with your child the importance of taking their time and doing their best work on tests and classwork.
4. We are planning to have a field trip at the end of the month.More information to come…
5. Reading 15 minutes should occur every night.

Monday is Men Make a difference day from 8:00-1:00! Any important male figure can join us at Calverton!
Progress reports are being processed. Grade notification letters will be sent home to individual students. Progress report conferences may be set up!

Early dismissal tomorrow!!!!!!
Homework due tomorrow! I will attempt to fit the test in tomorrow,but if I cannot fit it in, it will be on Monday!

PBIS Party tomorrow! The students should try to wear a greenshirt. If not, they may come in work out or gym type clothing. Allstudents may wear active clothes, not all students will participatein the party.
